Dublin South West Branch

Breastfeeding support is running in person, generally on the first & third Wednesday of each month but this does change. For the most up to date information join our WhatApp events group here or text Sian on 086 863 3377

If you have any questions regarding breastfeeding- our fully trained breastfeeding counsellors will give encouragement and answer any questions. Pregnant women are very welcome.

Who can go to Cuidiú breastfeeding support groups?

Mums-to-be who have an interest in breast feeding and/or are planning to breastfeed.

Parents or parents to be who are breastfeeding/ chestfeeding* or interested to learn more.

Mothers who are breastfeeding exclusively, supplementing, pumping exclusively or partially.

Mothers who have queries/concerns.

Mothers who are considering weaning or are no longer breastfeeding.

Mums who would like a chat.

Basically, every parent who is currently breastfeeding or interested in learning more is welcome. No matter what stage in the journey you are at!

The fully trained breastfeeding counsellors will give encouragement and answer any questions you may have. If you have any queries, please contact Sian Barber on breastfeedingcuidiudsw@gmail.com

*We generally use the word Mother/ Mum but acknowledge that not all people who choose to breastfeed or chestfeed their babies identify as women. Cuidiú is an inclusive organisation which supports all parents in their feeding method of choice.

In addition, our breastfeeding counsellors can be contacted at any time (details below).

If you can’t get through to one, try another name on the list.
